Nice video but how about tones and volume etc? as if thats the only tone it has then unless your sitting on the rod itself you can forget hearing the bite. I would have liked to have seen him show the tone and volume controls really, however i love Uncle Albert and his piking so im not dissing :o) lol

Had nothing but trouble with these alarms. I own/owned two of em.

1. Two much messing around to set them up. I find the pressure pad which the rod sits on don't always work, too temperamental.

2. They give off too much resistance. The line gate is a rubbish system. I've had too many pike drop the bait as a result

3. Over priced

Stick to a simple drop arm and front bite alarm

Is there any way to set some kind of alarm without using an electronic gizmo?
