  • VHS hahaha

  • I remember this. Though I grew up in Los Banos, we got all Fresno TV. 18,24,30,47 and 53.

  • a) Are those cameras using... VHS tape? and

    b) I love that the passenger in the TV 26 car opens the door before the car comes to a complete stop.

  • Wow, This is old, It has the Panasonic Recam Cameras (Major Heavy), the pre-cursor to the Sony Betacams. My hand is doing the 1 inch machine and the switcher.

  • Speaking of Fresno and Armenians, being the largest Armenian community in America, was there a TV station aired Armenian language programs? I'm not sure, but California has several TV stations air news, dramas, game shows or music videos in other languages ( KSCI 18 L.A. and KTSF 26 San Fran. in Chinese, Korean, etc.). In the related videos on the right (the Khmer and Tai language chart), Fresno also has a large S.E. Asian community (Thai, Laotian, Cambodian & Vietnamese) since the '70s. +

  • The KMPH 26 intro is like the Fresno board of tourism ad: "come to Fresno, there are things to see and do". Yeah, the Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite national parks, plus the Wilsonia Groves Nat'l monument east of Squaw Valley (not to be confused with the ski resort in West Tahoe). Fresno's historic Fox theater, the Sunmaid Grape-Raisin co. is one of the nation's major fruit companies and hometown of literary man William Saroyan, son of Armenian immigrants came to America in the 1920s. +

  • I dont know whats worst..the old fresno..or the new one?

  • Your irony is well put.

Fresno is one giant suburb of itself. :)

  • wow, this is so old. lol

  • Janet Stoll-Lee is now the media spokesperson for the Clovis, CA Police Department, a Fresno "suburb".
