Squat hops down stairs is a great exercise to build stronger legs for parkour. This exercise consists of dropping to a stair into a full squat position, squatting back up to stand, and then repeating the exercise to the next stair down. By training these small drops in a controlled manner with full range of motion, you will develop strength and flexibility to better handle drop landings.

  • Is landing/ squatting on the balls on your feet not bad for your knees as your knees track beyond your toes? Seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions on this, so I'm interested to hear your take on things!

  • @DemonDrills Therefore it isnt good to feel dizzy/tired and exhausted, while doing sports?

Happened to me sometimes when doing fitness, and those are the trainings, i dont remember positively.

  • What are the best shoes for Parkour for under $50?

  • dont know if this comment has been posted before.. but isn't it bad for your joints to get passed the 90 degree angle?

  • @stanley121212 don't u have something more important to do like favorite "ass videos" on utube ahahahah faggot

  • @billabonggable no there not what the fuck do u no fag

  • a doctor can tell you anything. In the 80's and 90's doctors told us fat was bad, now we know that trans/saturated fat is bad and that mono and poly-unsaturated fats are good for the body. People will always say many things, but it all comes down to the science and how movements when performed correctly. You should really do some more research on the topic and talk to athletic doctors. Old school doctors will always say squatting is bad for the knees.

  • Having a torn ligament doesnt mean no squatting anymore. Football playes, olympic lifters/power lifters/strong men go through these things and they still squat and lift. They use knee braces for the heavier weights, but they build their ligaments strength back up. Now i obviously don't know your exact condition, but i would seriously recommend seeing a doctor in kinesiology who specializes in athletic rehabilitation. These people will know the best possible route to getting you to squat again.

  • ha i came from a knee injury too, i tour a ligament in my knee, my doctor told me to never do squats

  • actually they are not. When a squat is performed in the correct motion it has many healing benefits for the knee. I know this because I come from a knee injury. I tore my meniscus(cartilage) bruised all of marrow, and i cracked my tibia. When i started doing squats on a regular basis all my knee pain went away. This happens because when a squat is properly done it sends on fresh blood to the knee cleaning it out and helping with circulation to the actual joint If u need more information research
