RE: davidmaria5-Luca is not overweight at all and how AKC could possibly dictate how much a dog eats is beyond me!
TIP- The way to check a dog for the correct weight for them (they are all individuals just like people) is to be able to feel their ribs and spine without being able to see it, if that is the case then your dog is a perfect weight for them. Luca has a lot of muscle however you can easily feel is ribs and spine, he's an ideal weight.
