  • finding it hard to get quality like yours with my HD Panasonic hs300 - is Neo Scene a free converter, and what format did u convert you? - great video..thanks!

  • Neo Scene costs about £100.

It converts to its own Cineform AVI files which you can easily edit in Premiere and export in whatever format you wish.

  • Amazing quality with no manual control... :( I was stuck between this cam and the HV20 but then I saved up a while longer and bought the Canon 7d, worth the wait.

  • @weeliano I know the role that interlacing has played (those broadcast engineers were ingenious at squeezing everything they could out of the tech of the day), but I just wish it would go away now :-/

As it is, we still have 1080i as a broadcast standard.

  • @martinXY Gosh! Please read the history about TV technology before you make a statement like that! If it were not for interlacing, we wouldn't have the modern TV in the first place!

  • It's funny - I don' see the interlacing on the waterfall shot at all. It's obvious in the Vimeo one, but not Youtube. If I ran the world, I'd find the guy who invented interlacing and put his nuts in a vice. Bane of my life...
