A Salon is a gathering of stimulating , informed individuals who enjoy the art of conversation. Often the tone of the salon is set by the hostess, who is presumed to be a person of some repute/notoriety in the area of discussion. In the case of our first Salon the theme will be The Purpose of Dreams. Our hostess, Paula Geisler, holds the belief that dreams help us confront the eternal verities of life: Death. Suffering. The suffering of Others. Attachment versus Loss. Love versus Hate. And so on

Discussion will begin promptly at 7 pm. at 102 West Kelly on Thursday, January 15. Your ideas are welcomed and polite debate makes the mix more enjoyable. Light refreshments will be served.

Our Salons are FREE & open to the interested public, but space is somewhat limited; therefore it is strongly suggested that you call 534-2087, or 313-7015 to confirm your place. In the upcoming season we look forward to a spirited exchange of viewpoints on a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to : Do Ghosts exist ?; Tenebrism: the Darkening of the Light ; Artists of Merit in Silver City ; the Original Geography (Pre-Flood) of Silver City; Humor & Healing& Feng-Shui in the Desert.
