alot of people recieve Medicare...alot who arent entitled to it; and quite frankly...the way the system works today...noone on it is entitled to it...
Government takes out taxes, writes an I.O.U. to the Medicare fund and pays for War on Terror and Welfare and further Gov't expansion with the "Medicare tax"...same goes for Social Security...lovely isn't it?
This is why Social Programs are unnacceptable in America...it is against Liberty and against American values and tradition.

I worked in a retirement home 20 yrs ago and there was a man that served in WWII who was losing his eyesight and our gov. wouldn't pay to fix it because it was not something that happened during his tour. This man had no money to pay for it himself. That is the type of thing I am talking about. I agree 100% that we should cut at least 80% of government out but we should also do right by those that fight for our freedom and pay their way medically for the rest of their lives. That was my point.

Are you talking about currently serving officers? I am talking about the elderly people that not only have paid into medicare ( if the were productive citizens and earned a check) but also have served our country. I guess I have never even considered that anyone other than the elderly and disabled would receive medicare. My bad.

All service men, Navy...as this is the ONLY Constitutional National defense entity (unless a time of war...at which an Army is valid for 2 years maximum)...the Navy has medical officers, which the Navy should see for free...if they opt to see a private doctor...they are paid and can do so with their own wealth...problem today, is the government taking everybodys fucking wealth so noone can afford to see a doctor anymore...
Remove 80% of our government, we would have wealth again

A lot of those folks on Medicare today that you want to cut out did earn it by serving our great country and securing your freedom so what shall we do with them?
