Jan 26 - The Obama Administration is already signaling that it plans to talk tough on China's currency, but it is not clear if US policy is headed for a major change. Geithner expects China to increase the value of their currency in a global recession? That would be economically and politically suicidal.

US currencies is overvauled, and yuan is not undervalued. a nation of debt like US should have a currency thats worth about 1 us dollar = 1 yen. then american can get all the jobs back and stop blaming others.

their currency might be undervalued but so is much of their labor.
I "almost" compare it to going to Mexico with 1 Month's income and living like a king for 6 months (if you keep out of trouble of course)

obama thinks that the clinton era of treating China is still viable ... how sad applying old formulas to new problems - formulas in clinton era that didnt work.
how intelligent ...

What this does is it makes Chinese goods cheaper in comparison to other goods, especially American goods, in the United States here or overseas where Americans, in some cases, are competing with Chinese goods.
