I think that what you say is untrue. If you look at "Brokeback Mountain" for example, many actors (like Brad Pitt...) refused to take the main parts. If you look at James Franco's carreer, he has played gay characters once or twice and now, in every interviews, journalists ask him if he's gay... I don't think that everyone does for the attention, it would mean that these gay characters are not interesting to play and I don't understand why it would be so... it's kind of homophobic to think so.

i had to watch this movie a few times to understand it... i also thought the movie's dialogue was similar to a play, and then after some research i find out some of the storyline is taken from shakespeare's henry IV and V?
