Unfortunately, the american mainstream news media isn't even trying to report on the damage done by unregulated speculative banking. A portion of that revenue could be used to strenghten weaknesses in your regulatory and consumer protection services amongst other programs. BTW, liked your appearence on the co-op podcast. I had no idea about what you did besides the videos on youtube. Few gamers like to switch topics to possible new national economic policies. This is another nice bridge builder.

Calling this the "Robin Hood Tax" is a political blunder. Robin Hood "stole" from the rich. In our current reality, the rich have stolen from us. I'd call it the Dragnet tax, the Adam 12 tax, the Columbo tax... Anything!

The American people just need to wise up and quit giving their money to banks. We fork over our money voluntarily.

Taxes on the banks just means the banks will pass those costs along to their customers.
