Trumpet Soprano Dual

This is a workshop from the new opera/musical, RED WHITE & BLUE with Contemporary Opera Los Angeles on September 6, 2007, directed by Tom Villano.

RED WHITE & BLUE is a "Play within a Play" and has 3 acts: Act I: "The Audition." Act II: "The Rehearsal" Act III: "The Performance".

In this clip from Act II. The trumpet player is teasing the soprano ultimately challenging her to a musical dual. But, it's not the kind of classical music she's used to and she fumbles with it at first until he insults her. She then rises to the challenge.
