Seattle protested against the Westboro Baptist Church / Fred Phelps / God Hates Fags bunch! The protest took place at St. James Cathedral, on June 14, 2008. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were there in all their queer glory, chanting, and looking beautiful.

  • The Bible says the Earth is flat, has four corners and does not move. Wooo...

  • There is not a single word in the Bible that tells anyone to pass judgement or express hatred towards another human being. Not a single word. If you say there is - you are a LIAR. In my mind-it is very clear-MaryWaterton is not God. The Phelps family and their followers are not God. I believe in the freedom of expression. These assholes-in my opinion-have a right to express their opinions-but they do not have a right to pass judgement on anyone-ever. Do they claim to be without sin themselves?

  • haha both sides are freaks

  • @MaryWaterton truely those words really helped out the Phelps? Why didn't Fred himself come up here if he started this comittee? Ask youself that

  • @BeetzartMusic thanks

  • @elvez1231 yes, in the old testament its all about hate, murder, rape, slavery , wars and fear..just like any religion

  • Lets just have his head and be done with it.

  • Hmmmmm? Satanists posing as religious people to make the church look bad, while on the other hand, the poop penis pack will probably join them in an after party along with the satanic media, camera's off. Interesting.

  • Counter-protests against WBC are about the most futile exercises imaginable. This organization WANTS people to counter-protest so it can soak up as much publicity and attention it can soak up. The key is to stop feeding this desperate group and leave it to starve itself out of existence. Thinking Christians neither support nor condone this group, and neither should anyone else. A wonderful man named Mike Vinson, who believes in the eventual salvation of all, is much more Bible-literate.

  • Ah, but blaspheming against the holy spirit or disobeying your parents is clearly an equal crime to murder, rape, and hate crimes.

I love the way you think. And to think I thought the world was becoming more progressive.

Damn. (whoops, blasphemy, darn. But isn't blasphemy a victimless crime?)

    ; )
