This is a humorous cowboy love song dedicated to a friend who just had a mastectomy. Many apologies for the quality of the performance!! Words and music by Clark Ford. Lyrics: What do you say to the woman you love with feeling, when she's just had a double mastectomy? What do you sat that will be healing, and sensitive about her anatomy? Well, I don't know, so I'll have one more drink, and then I'll tell her what I really think: You didn't need those titties anyway, you're beautiful the way you are. Those big old boobs just got in the way, and no one will ever see the scar. Chorus: Well, I'm gonna love you every day, whether you've got hooters (knockers, cleavage) or not. I'm not really sure just what to say, I'm just glad that you're ok. And I'm gonna love you anyway. You didn't need cancer lurkin' in your chest, now your're flat like a guy. Cuttin' those puppies off was for the best, so there's no need to be shy. (Chorus) You'll always be attractive to me, whether you've got real boobs or not. I'm just glad that you will be with me, and I'll always think that you're hot. (Chorus). Note: This melody with different lyrics was used in "1983" the Musical as a satirical song about the Reagan presidency, entitled "Just Say No". • Thank you for writing this. My darling wife has just been diagnosed with early DCIS. I am having trouble finding humour in this, and you have helped.

  • You are welcome. Maybe I should re-record it without so many mistakes!

  • Thank you for making up this song, I'm very new at this but you have made me feel better.

  • I'm so glad the song made you feel better!

    Thanks for the feedback.

  • Found this looking for mastectomy jokes to cheer up my friend that just came out of her surgery, found this and it was most appropriate! And no, there is no humor in the subject, but to lighten ones mood will only help to enlighten ones outlook......

  • Thanks for the positive feedback! I love the song, but I certainly am not a performer! If enough people like it, I will send it to Nashville to be recorded by professionals. If the song gets bought by a publisher, I will donate the royalties to breast cancer support, research, and prevention.
