Gota Yashiki is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and arranger who has recorded and toured with Simply Red, Oleta Adams, Seal, Depeche Mode, Soul II Soul and Sinead O'Connor among others. Its So Different here marks Gota's U.S. debut, featuring a rich presentation of his smooth, lyrical jazz/soul stylings combined with the flawless musicianship that gives this release its distinctive acid jazz feel.
