Serah has passed away, a long time ago. Lightning remembers in grief as she can't let go. Another painful memory strikes her: Snow punching Hope. Of course, he did this out of a misunderstanding between Hope and himself, but it was too late. Snow thought Hope was making a move on Lightning and caught him doing so, so he did the only thing a possessive man would do, punch the person hitting on their woman.

Hope didn't really know Lightning and Snow were together, even if Lightning had made any indication they were. Lightning was beyond pissed, especially since the injuries had sent Hope to the hospital into a coma. With Serah and Hope gone, Lightning felt like she lost everything.

One day, Lightning catches Snow on the mountainside they first met. At first, she is speechless, but words come to her eventually. She tells Snow that he should be ashamed of himself. She wordlessly walks away, feeling numb all over.

Returning to the city unknowingly, Lightning stops and can feel all the threatening stares burning holes in her. This is just too much. Everyone still blames her for Serah's death and will stop at nothing to make Lightning feel downgraded and low. It was never her fault, but Lightning can't just stand there. She does only one thing her military training has taught her to use in real life during dangerous situations.

She jumps, not for herself or her life, but her sanity. Seeing as to how all those people reacted to her presence, she knows she cannot be seen outside anymore. She makes her landing down below and sprints as fast as she can. Snow suddenly sees her running blindly past him and races after her. He apprehends her at the beach and she is stunned to see him. Before it can register on her face, Snow starts yelling at her to come back to him, but she's heard it all before.

Lightning turns indifferently and ambles away, away from the arms that once belonged to her beloved. Snow sees she's going and is paralyzed. His mind flashes to a distant possibility of her leaving him forever, slinking out of the kitchen despite his pleas and out of his life for good.

Seeing that, he feels he's been marooned on the beach, him and his conflicting emotions, so he walks after her.

Meanwhile, Lightning is mixed up. She wants to run back into Snow's loving arms and release all her bottled up emotions, but if she does that, she's engendering the status of their relationship. Why mess with something if it's already broken? She abandons her heart and Snow consecutively.

Snow and Lightning are at home later, and he finds himself slamming his fists into the ground, begging for her to stop this. He hopes that she'll run back to what she needs, which is him, but what she's doing to herself is destroying her from the inside out.

Snow balls his fists and leaves, leaving Lightning there to stand alone. She copies his actions, feeling emotionally isolated. She wishes that all this time, she could have been her sister, since her sister was more loving, forgiving, quicker to respond, and strong enough to deal with her battling emotions. Lightning feels like a misfit, never having belonged at all in Snow and Serah's lives. Snow and Serah used to date, but unfortunate circumstances led them to separating. Snow slowly fell hard for Lightning, but now she feels that Snow probably loved Serah more than her in the first place.

No, she cannot turn to him. And she cannot remain here any longer.

Snow witnesses this internal transformation Lightning is taking. She used to a much happier person when they started dating but now she is fading away. Whatever is going on in her heart is tearing her asunder, and he may actually lose her forever. It feels like her life is slowly crystallizing beside him.

He doesn't want her to go. They see each other at the street corner and share a sad glance. Lightning can see the memory of their intimacy creeping away from her. Snow moves around the corner and brings his hand to his chest.

They meet at the mountainside later. Snow's contesting with himself, biting his lip at the situation coming. He knows this is where they bid their farewells, but it's difficult to go through.

Lightning's footsteps alert him of her presence. He clenches his fists and regards her with that longing look.

How did you do that awesome video manipulation?? Some of those scenes were done perfectly!

@ike1350 i think the first haft all the effects were done in Sony Vegas and the last haft were done in adobe after effect .

i think this is the best lightning x snow amv and i love this pair. I saw a passage said that ff13-2 sara will meet a guy and that is maybe a chance for snow and lightning<3@@ ( but that's impossible
