PLEASE mayerforan, Jamie was NEVER a Cartwright he was a HUNTER. They may have adopted him but he was NEVER a True Cartwright and most people didn't think of him as one.....just an annoying BRAT who tried to fill a hole and didn't succeed.

I disagree, Jamie was a great addition to the show. I was happy when JAMIE CARTWRIGHT arrived on the Ponderosa.

NO! Sorry mayerforan Jamie was NOT needed, he was such a NERD and stupid I think he got on everyone's nerves. I know he got on mine and it became a chore to watch Bonanza with that idiot boy in it.

I loved Bonanza.. it was the BEST! I missed Adam when he left,, but I did love the show once Ben adopted Jamie.. he was needed.
