http://www.flyfishingoutfitters.com/p/s/listing.aspx?sid=SUN-OAK. At the Fly Fishing Retailers Show in Denver, we got a tour of the rolling "O-Lab", a mobile testing lab that Oakley uses to test its eyewear to the highest standards in the industry, in both optical clarity and impact resistance. This video demonstrates what happens to Oakley sunglasses- and your eyes- in both high velocity and high mass impact. Imagine a clouser minnow hitting you in the eye and you can see why these demonstrations are relevant to the fly fisherman! Thanks for watching and tight lines!
@Chipperowski No, they don't have anything to do with strength, the only thing iridium does is make the lens more reflective from the outside.

@MV7Snipe So does iridium have absolutely anything to do with the strength of the lens or no?
Chipperowski 1 month ago
@Chipperowski The very first test was used with a non Oakley lense, the next one was used with the Oakley lense.

This is a neat test. But I'm a bit confused. Was the first test where the glass just shattered a non oakley lense or was this just a demo to show off iridium lenses?
