@Bigthug90 in scotland you can't. It's illegal.

Got any more for sale?

Regarding docking - It hurts the puppies more than it would an adult, there's no guarantee than the entire litter would become gundogs, Setters with similar coats and work are NOT docked, 99.95% of dogs, undocked, would still have injury-free tails with the chances of getting an amputation-worthy injury miniscule. It cosmetic, no two ways about it - otherwise we'd be docking the tails of all dogs that work, but we don't.

@yellow2794 Our collie, with his long feathery tail, never split it once and he love charging through thorny undergrowth. If the mother is a show-line dog there's even LESS reason for docking. Here in Scotland docking is completely banned unless there's a VERY good reason for it as it's deemed more cruel than useful. However, that said, this mother and her puppies look lovely and happy.

Eloquently put, also anyone who says they are docking thier dogs tail to stop it getting caught or damged is either seriously incompetent, or just lying as it's more commonly just to stop them whipping your legs and undergrwoth with thier fantastically incessant wagging, Farmer and Gamekeepers son, worked on them for more than 20 years docking is utter bull and unnescesary, how about I dock Your tail?

I just seen another thing called Milly's puppies and theres different stages in there life from day 1 to about 4 months think about 6 parts to be presise .
@morskaj THIS IS WRONG!! You are 100% allowed to dock dogs tails ASLONG as its not for just what it looks like. So if you hunt with your dogs a vet can do it easily. Its also MUCH better than having the dog split its tail when hunting and having it amputated at 6 month or so!! Some people think there doing good and the poor dog ends up worse off :(

That's very sad. It's always devastating to lose any dog and springer's have such happy, sweet natures.
