You are not alone. Martyn Green's favorite.

Production problem: (According to Audrey Williamson) you need two good tenors. I've got a vinyl from the 50s with Thomas Round & Leonard Osborn that meets that criterion.

Some my disagree that Osborn is good. Nonsense. Performance is performance. And if his energy -- even expressed in voice only -- makes the case. Listen to his Proud Lady Have your Way in Pinafore. I've never hear a better "...she laughs my love to scorn."

  • i didnt comment on this so dnt send it to my email thank you very much

  • It's awful! Nice to do - I was Arac in Herts G & S production. Makes me realise why we only did Ida once. It's not for audiences.

  • This is my favorite part of Ida. Also, turns out I've meet Jane Brendler Buchi and I've seen a tiny production with Vikki Willoughby, same one apparently. It feels like the G&S community, world-wide, consists of like 58 people.

  • I just had an audition for this show today and I might be playing Florian and I'm a girl! Hello pants role, haha. But it looks like soooo much fun.

  • Wow, what an amazing production this appears to have been. Congratulations!

Shame you changed the negro line, but otherwise, very well done!

  • Fantasic-marvelous! I've been introduced to the Florian only once in passing, and once saw the Hilarion in live rehearsal. I've never met the Cyril, but have met the fantastic stage director once outside

of the theatrical context. Hope Savoynet goes on to more and more glories as they do more

    productions!!

  • fantastic! I wish this G&s opera was more popular
