The most common shoulder injury is with the rotator cuff. And the root cause is generally an imbalance between the front and rear heads of the deltoids. In this video I'll show how to balance your shoulder development.

  • Question Lee..I can flat bench light with out pain, but once I add heavy weight my right side just sorta gives out.I can't incline bench and when I do the rotator cuff exercise I feel the pain in my right shoulder towards the front delt.also hurts when I pec fly.Any ideas on the problem n solution? Thanks

Try using dumbbells for your benching as it allows for more freedom of movement with the shoulders. Also make sure to do these exercises as shown in the video before every single workout, regardless if it's a shoulder workout or not.

  • How long does it usually take to heal when doing these workouts?

  • @MrPudendum

It really depends on how badly you've damaged your shoulders / rotator cuff muscles. But you'll notice improvements within a couple weeks.

  • Doing the T rotary cuff rotations. I feel my shoulder bones rubbing/popping. Is that normal?

  • @WealthyAffiliateJour

It's pretty common to have pops in the shoulders. As long as it doesn't hurt you should be ok. I've got a pop in my shoulder as well when I do arm circles.

You should go light and do several progressively heavier warm ups for all your exercises. Then if you find any movements hurt your shoulders, Don't Do Them. Just listen to your body and work within your pain threshold.

  • I WILL DO THIS AND I LET U KNOW THE RESULTS

  • Remember not to use too much resistance otherwise the larger muscles will take over and the rotator cuff will not get as much benefit, if any.

  • Definitely gonna start off with these exercises next time I'm going to the gym.

Felt a pain during my squats today that I've never felt before. Scary stuff! :(

  • Thanks!
