This video will explain that Windows Live Movie Maker is for home-users only and not for professionals that say ths software is crap. Please understand that this video explains Movie Maker's history and changes overtime due to consumers. So if one of you watching are video editing professionals please understand.

I am not an affiliate of Microsoft, just a Windows Live Movie Maker user, giving Live Movie Maker its voice to you.

  • THe only reason I don't like Live Movie Maker is because you can't import .gif files.

  • @theultimatedonut You can but no animation. True. There's a tutorial here in YouTube, but not mine.

  • You can download 2.6 for Windows 7. I've tried WLMM and it's absolutely terrible. The result after saving is a lot different than what I saw in the preview in the program.

  • @MesserProductions4 What Res are you saving to?

  • does windows live reduce resolution like windows move maker?

  • @funnystuff1224 If you choose the output file with a lower resolution. Like editing a 720p vid then saving it to 480p.

  • WMM is basic and it does stuff.

WLMM may be basic, but it does NOTHING.

  • ive noticed that almost everyone that commented didnt pay attention. it was made for AMATEURS. not for people who actually know how to do all that movie editing stuff. for people who are just starting out.

  • I use WMM and I love it. Using other sites I found on google I can do a lot more effects, transitions, and fonts then what it comes with.

  • I use Windows Live Movie Maker for my videos, but if Windows Movie Maker hadn't problems on my computer, then I would use it! Both Windows Movie Makers are great!

  • I use live movie maker

  • @flyingflapjack567 Thank you. I give my honors to you.
