Bejeweled 3 - Classic Mode DEFEATED!

After nearly 2 months of playing, I finally reached the highest score in the Classic mode! After reaching 2,147,483,647 points, the score sticks there and will never go up, but you can continue playing after that. I backuped the save file and killed myself to see the score statistics - thousands of special gems and 160 hours of playing. And my game level rushed from Lv.50 to Lv.211, you will spend about 4 minutes listening to the great "dingding" sounds :). And at the end my best scores and my game stat.
Thanks for watching, I had a great time reaching the highest score ever :). My next plan is trying to make as many hypercubes as I can in one screen. I will use this backuped save file to do this, so see you later~

So did you use the "pausing" technique in getting this score in classic mode?...like you did in creating the huge number of hypercubes.

I just got my score over 1 billion in classic mode without using any cheats or tricks....I'm curious if I can get to your level without "pausing"

The high score and the huge hypercube numbers are great though.

@justanotherpackerfan Yes, I used it when I was not so skillful in Classic. But I can say that the classic mode can be defeated without using the pausing technique! someone else has completed it that way :)

If your score for Classic gets too high, the game will activate its cheating protection and reset your rank to what it was before?

Did you know...

My highscore, no backup saves, is just over 15 million points, on Classic. However, after I started the game up again, my rank was reset to what it was before? (Check my channel for proof! Includes milestone videos as proof of me not having cheated.)

@TheSuperMegaUltraMan I think that's because the game got an error not a cheating protection :D. Maybe I should make a video a full process of one level, that will be a strong proof.

Just a little trivia. If you convert the score into bytes, then the score is more or less 2GB ;)

@luckyxjy So what exactly is going to happen when I reach 2,147,483,647? I'm at 2,125,000,000 right now. This is the first game of classic mode I have played on this computer so I have no badges or levels yet (I'm guessing it doesn't give then till after a game is done). Also...how does one back-up save a game...I don't see a save option anywhere in the menu.

@GibsonIsMyBear It's because of the way the score gets stored in the system, as you probably know computers work by binaries so everything is in multis of 2

2,147,483,647 = 2^31 - 1, which is the maximum number that can be stored in a 32-bit number. If the game did not have a "Digit overflow protection" when one reaches this score, chances that the score would max out and "reset" to zero (or worse, −2,147,483,647)

12 Butterflies matched in one move (Platinum badge);

2,417,300 points in Butterflies Mode;

Favorite Gem Color: Green (Green is BETTER than Purple!) LOL

I still can't believe your All-Time Best Move scored 934,800 points... Mine scored 125,400. Well, you played... almost 10 days non-stop...

And I thought that my score (in Classic) of 10,811,060 points was huge...

@slayerDOTcl I think that's when this guy stopped recording his game, went to backup the save file, and then continued playing (without recording). Then, he wanted to know his own score statistics, so (as he said in the description), he lost intentionally. After matching both hypercubes eachother, he started recording again. So we could see his scores too, when he "lost" (remember that he backuped his game).

Aquí, el Classic es igual que el de Bejeweled 2: pierdes sólo cuando te quedas sin movimientos.

Hay ciertas estrategias que se pueden seguir para alcanzar un nivel avanzado en este juego sin quedarte sin movimientos.

Luckyxjy (el que subió el video) parece que, explotando al máximo estas estrategias, logró alcanzar el fin de Classic Mode...
