Everybody—a part animation, part live-action short film from our friends from the UK—is a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights for the book, We Are All Born Free. See the 30 rights of the Declaration come alive with illustrations from internationally renowned illustrators and voice stylings from Jeremy Irons, Emilia Fox, George Lamb, Navin Chowdhry, Lindsay Duncan, Amanda Mealing and our narrator Julian Rhind-Tutt.

  • This is great, it really, really is.

But why are people still oppressed by fear of speaking out in their own countries? Why are people still afraid to to choose their own religion and be open about it?

Papers are being signed, but what is being done?

  • Supercool Video! All Humans should know their rights, right!

  • "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

How about we start with that. If we did, all other discussion would be academic...

  • "RIGHTS" are the PRIVILEGES given to peoples by their leaders through writings and passing some laws. So this means LAWS determine our "rights", not nature or God. in the absence of society, it is nature that determines someone's "rights".

  • well if you want human rights you need justice and justice doesn't come with good intentions but with strenght and willpower against violence and crimes. Only the talion law will reach that goal otherwise it is a lost fight

  • a shit load of good that did. theyre just words on paper. talk to me when were actually ready to have a grown up discussion about human rights.
