Corsa C4 L98 Corvette Exhaust

I noticed that in my research into exhaust systems that there were no C4 Corsa exhaust videos, so I have posted my own.

Here is the clip of the first start-up with my new Corsa C4 cat-back exhaust. Its a 1991 L98 convertible with stock everything prior to the exhaust modification. Removing the stock system and installing the new one took me about two hours because of some tough flange bolts.

Anyways, the exhaust sounds better today than it did on start-up. It also sounds much, much meaner than the video suggests. There is no drone at highway speeds and a nice growl when accelerating and a crisp throaty rumble at idle.

I am thinking of installing headers/exhaust manifold next. Is this a good idea? Comments welcomed! I hope this video helps anyone in the process of buying an exhaust system for their C4.

Lol, thanks. I just put some ZR-1 17x11's on the rear (and 17x9.5 on the fronts) with rubber more than 12" wide. I'll post of video of the new wheels and rear stance soon.

@wetwilly1000 Corvette exhausts are valved. Meaning they run on one side of the muffler when idling and the other side when driving. It was meant to quiet the noise level when parked or stopped

The 4 tail pipes in the back. Is the exhaust only coming out of 1 on each side??? Might be wrong, Just curious

i have the same car but with SLP Loudmouth Bullet II mufflers, Exotic Long Tube Headers and it sounds really scary but mine has a 383ci engine not the LT1, try adding a a racing air filter with nice headers then listen to the sound, it will change dramatically not to mention the performance of the car
