Watch the exciting action of approaching and departing trains from track level captured by our special wide screen high definition video camera cars as you ride the rails of Tom Miller's Fabulous F-Scale Layout.

This DVD contains 30 minutes of views exclusively from these POV cameras as they ride the entire route of Tom's layout revealing details that in many cases can not be seen in person.

  • Beautiful, i like the K27

  • can you explain this cutting a groove across the railhead thing a little more?

  • Oh my,makes me want'a go throw my HO stuff away!! What an effect folks, sites, sounds, what a layout! What size is the room/building that this wonderful modelled world is in?Thanks for sharing your great modeling/videos! I love F scale, just wish I had the room.

  • The #3 bit... that's a watermark. This is a promotional video for the DVD. Having the watermark there is deliberately distracting so to discourage recording and re-editing into a home video and to go buy the DVD.. which I might add , is very much on the cards!

  • Wow. That's it. I need to find a kind hearted benefactor! The whole set up is brilliant. I really dig the main structure as well... nice entrance and very nice artwork on the side too.. F scale is too cool.

One thing though... and this is something I'm experimenting with on my G scale, I measure out 35 ft or so and mark it. I then come along with my angle grinder and lightly cut a groove across the rail head.. that way I get the clickety clack. Unless of course it's welded rail!!

  • yah some smoke and steam and you would think its real.

  • Great video great audio great scenery .Stunning.

  • Technically, "F-Scale" is 1:20.3 scale. It uses "G-Scale" (45mm) track but, because the trains are narrow gauge, they must be upsized to run on G-Scale "standard" track. So, F-Scale narrow gauge equipment is larger than G-scale standard equipment, though the reverse is true in the prototypes. The DVD gives great views of the whole layout with Tom's commentary and track level running footage. It was all I could do to convince my 94 y/o father that it was a model layout!

  • 1. A super looking layout. 2. What the heck is F-Scale? 3. We could do without the web address across the screen. Distracting.
