How to deal with mice like a totally mature, well-adjusted member of society

I totally handled it, you guys. I was so calm and rational about the whole thing.

Just in case anyone is super concerned about the well-being of mice in and around my apartment, the day after this incident, I bought some of those outlet plug-ins that emit a high-pitched sound to scare away mice. So, like, there is not a mass-murdering of mice going on in my apartment right now. Totally humane stuff. Okay. Glad we cleared this up.

The mice in my house get killed by my dogs o.O So I never have t odeal with them! They are amazing at killing rats too :D

We have mouse at home (not where I am at the moment.) Horrrrrible! They came in when our neighbours did building work and knocked a wall through. Wish we could capture them humanely :(

I had a mouse in my room once... My cat caught it, but didn't kill it. I think he liked playing with it more alive. It disappeared after a week and I still don't know where it went. Dx

A much faster way to deal with a mouse:

-go to the dollar store and buy the snap mouse traps

-leave some food out over night- bread products seem to work best, and place a piece on the trap

-you'll find it the next morning, dead. Man up and grab a glove/ plastic bag and throw the sucker out.

Ta da. Mouse free.

@rebexington haha no worries. Stories are always good! My roommates and I bonded over How I Met Your Mother last year and the cockamouse ep. came up and then we had a real mouse in our house! I called it magical b/c it disappeared into weird, imaginary spaces... and then it got into our sink and ate our food and did mouse-like things. haha. I'm glad I don't live there anymore, needless to say.
