Beautiful song. I used to sing it to my son and still do, in my mind anyway. He has long forgotten he has a mother.

I have loved this song for over a quarter of a century and when I hear it,I picture myself in a field with those bluebells and my beloved.....also me and my papaw were born on 12 days the only 2 in my family Nov. 12th and April 12th and we were really close

They played this at my grandad's funeral nearly 2 years ago and it still makes me cry not just because I miss him but also because it makes me realise how much he loved my nana.To me this is the perfect love song.

@MsJL72 im a 68 kid...teak furniture and Johnny Mathis, i think its the 1st thing i can remember hearing form being born lol i just had to have a little listen before i get to old and grumpy lol

This was my parents wedding song on April 12, 1959. Last year my Dad made a 6 foot long music notes on a staff with the notes of the chorus that hangs in the fence by their deck My Mom passed away two weeks ago and my Dad is truly heartbroken. I guess tho "It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all."
