A widowed mother is bringing up her six children independently and the hardships of life start. In the post-war era in Korea where people are living in the face of adversity and struggling to survive, a young lady from a well-being family is forced to marry a poor man. After giving birth to five children, she has to bear the pain of losing her husband and their sixth daughter is borne on the 100th day after his death.
