@peace2sign Hey, great news!!! Champion now has a special attachment for wheatgrass and leafy greens, so they dont get heated

Not the best juicer, second best. The best is Norwalk Juicer.

@MichaelBoryAlis No it does not. But your car does, and many other nasty things.

Actually with a JuiceMan juicer (only $90 in USA) you can make a massive amount of green juice from several heads of celery and lettuce plus cucumbers in under ten minutes. The quality of extraction is not as high as the Champion, but it is better for a beginner or just if you're addicted to juice and want to drink it like a caveman!

@roadrunnervideo1 Broccoli stems are surprisingly sweet, and carrots of course. Your mix does sound pretty bad, it was the beets imho.

I tried Celery, beets, and kale and it was just horrible. I could not drink it I spit it out. I tried kale same reaction just horrible. What do you do to mask the horrible taste of greens? I do not want to mix fruits with my vegetables that just is not good.

Is it just me but in 47 sec's I haven't got time to look at the juicer ;o)

I have a champion. Orange juice comes out very bitter, vegetables juices have a lot of froth that needs to be strained multiple times. It's very messy to clean too. It's probably good for carrot juice mixed with other fruits and vegetables. Other than that, If you're really into juicing, you're better off with another purchase. I think the Omega VRT is probably the best.

i have to stop and unclog my champion juicer at least 3 times during each juicing session. it heats up the pulp and juice and creates a ton of froth. probably best as a sorbet maker than a juicer.

I've used a Champion before and a friend of mine has one. When you juice from it there is alot of froth which indicated oxidation.
Does the Champion burn off the enzymes and compromise the hexagonal structure of the water?

@MichaelBoryAlis not as far as I know. many raw foodies i know use this juicer an are happy with the results. mainly though, this juicer is great because it does more than just juicing. it also makes the banana/fruit ice cream.

can this juicer do well with leafy greens and fruits?? what about the froth-- i don't like that-- any suggestions?

@peace2sign yep it does fine with leafy greens when you mix them with a more watery veggie like celery or cucumber. fruit is no problem at all, but the froth tends to happen with the more dry stuff like greens
