They can learn to say a few words, as well as their crow cousins, not as well as parrots though. We have lots of them that drop by the feeders. Crows and jays are very intelligent!

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a "science geek" and nature freak. I used to read encyclopedias when I was a small child. My particular field of study was animals. I knew those who had them as pets too.
