It also says Have faith in God. That means believing God will change your personal situation, even if you don't see it happening yet....It will change if you have faith. Works for me everytime and have a ton of examples of this principle working in my life.
Let me ask the person below one question. Have you ever read the Bible in your life? Hebrews 11:1 states faith is the substance of things hoped for but yet not seen. It also is filled with stories of compassion and forgiveness. It tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Yes, we should love ourselves. How could the Bible possibly creep you out. Jesus died on the cross for your sins and loves you. The Bible even condemns religiosity. Check out the story about the Pharisees.
@LPATWILLFILM Man, you creep me out. Look, I don't attack Jesus. I do attack the Bible. It is a dangerous book in some hands. Jesus was a cool guy, if he existed. You know "Be nice to everyone. Don't hurt others. Help each other out." The Bible says quite a lot of disturbing things in that book if you take out the Gospels. Plus, it is so edited that who the hell knows what the original text was. Just my opinion, mate. Cheers!
lol That male presenter guy right at the start of this was so pissed off throughout the whole interview. He had to keep asking polite questions as Bill Maher ripped his dumb beliefs apart in front of his eyes. He was desperate to get the last word in for Christianity. lol

What if HELL really is real and you aren't right? That would be tragic.

Well, that is also why we have the New Testament. The Gospels is what makes the change that this world needed.

the bible is the only book that gets you to paradise a place where happiness will be the only thing you would live
why not worship the lord Jesus Christ for a few decades and he will give you infinite life

Jeez, where has all this stuff been his whole life?
He basically says the idea that there could be some kind of god is possible, he's not an atheist.
He also acknowledges that religion has led to good things.
Never heard him say that before.
