As I said, it took many hands to get us here. The government is not run by one person, and they do not get to start their presidency with a clean slate. They pick up all the issues that the last president(s) left for them. Take a look at the debt by president graph, and you will see why we're in this situation. Our government as whole has been failing us for years. I honestly don't believe Romney will "fix" the issues either. The choice we have, isn't much of a choice at all.

A reboot will be bloody. Those in power will not (and never do) go quietly.

There were good & bad of many presidencies, but Obama tops them all for most harm in my lifetime, I can recall back to LBJ.

Saying I do not have faith in Romney does not automatically place my faith in Obama. As for being hard pressed to do worse, I respectfully disagree. We are in this position due to several presidencies. It is many years and many bad decisions. The blame does not belong to one person alone. The president does not start his term with a clean slate.

I would rather not have to choose between the "shiniest of two turds", but that is the decision we are left with. What we need is a complete reboot.

You have faith in Obama to do exactly what? One would be hard pressed to do a worse job than Obama has in 4 years. We're in far more debt, far less secure, far less prosperous as a nation from 4 years of Obama. We don't need more of that.

His character? He says things he does not even believe. Many of his stances have changed simply to gain votes. His character is quite poor from where I'm sitting. He is not going to help this country.

I'm not saying that Obama is wonderful, but Romney is someone that I cannot put any faith in what-so-ever. A future with Romney is one I am truly scared of.

However.....I respect that we have differing views.
