Vern is definitely a legend and will be remembered by his friends and colleagues for a long time. He is very much missed by those of us from IBM's Silicon Valley Lab, where "IMS" is developed and supported. He inspired all of us to make "IMS" the best Transaction and Database Manager ever. Thanks Vern!

This reminds me of my old english teacher telling us:"show, don't tell" ..Too often we get bombarded with big messages that start to lose their meaning after a while.. And in comes this simple video full of important meanings..on why we create, why it pays to have a curious and passionate spirit within while carrying out even the most mundane of tasks.
