This is not the first Pokémon spot on Kids' WB! This was just referring to the fall when it left syndication and became a Kids' WB! exclusive.

Yes, it was. I wrote and produced this -- we only had targa (still image files), because copies of the show had not arrived, and we needed to start the marketing six weeks from launch. Prior to it being exclusive on Kids' WB!, it had appeared in other markets on a syndicated basis. Biggest mistake Saban ever made was to pass on it for Fox Kids. Boy did we make him pay for it too. Six straight years at #1.
