china is in a complicated position right now because its so cheap foreign countries such as much of north america and europe build their crap there pollute there and then blame china for its pollution problem hello alot of these companies tat r poluting r from other countries if china penalizes them then they lose money which in turn would bring china down on the power and money scale but it would help further toxins going into china but they`ll just pollute another country all countries need

The pollution in this river is caused by the companies that produced goods for the United States.
Old batteries, computers chips from the US are shipped to factories nearby....the chinese villagers' sacrifice is American's gains.
It's sad, but very true.
