Why have all these posh accents stereotyping Britain? No one talks like this, it's really embarresing, queen, tea, jolly good show and all that. Bleedin awful! It's not all posh parts of London or the cockney east end you know?

I have dual citizenship-British and Canadian. I reside in Winnipeg very near a place called Osborne Village. This area has tea rooms/a British pub complete with dinner menus/small art gallery and many little shops selling a vast array of goods from hand made jewellry/pottery etc. summer festivals. New York reatin your Little Britain and down the chute with big business.

So this is a real campaign and not just a skit? I'd be ready to move there! (Since the English government makes it so hard for Americans to move to England!) I want to be British!!!

The emigration difficulty goes both ways. Ridiculous considering we let in the scum from Eastern Europe. I'd much rather have Americans and Canadians emigrating here.

So the community board has a stark choice let us put two words [Little Britain] on one signpost and create a novel reason for people to visit the neighborhood that will only benefit all the existing small businesses in the area, or, watch Greenwich Avenue transform into a carbon copy of Bleecker Street and the homogeneous global brands that are located there.

Bottom line, this campaign is about survival. It was conceived to help a small, local business, of seventeen years standing, compete with the big retail brands who are moving into the area and causing massive rent increases, that only they can afford.
