SYNOPSIS
During a turbulent roadtrip across poland mother and son are searching for their grandmother. Who vanished after a familyconflict.

Even though Maria loves her mom, she doesnt have enough time to take good care of her. Both are in constant conflict with each other because the lusty old lady starts getting in need of care and refuses to be resettled into a retirement home. When the moving into it is about to happen, grandmother Irmgard pushes forward and disappears. An unsettling search starts. Finally, Maria finds notations of her mothers escape from East Prussia in 1944, where she has not been since this time. Desperately, she convinces her lethargic and aimless son David to help finding grandmother Irmgard.
