@SmashBrosFan19 there have always been times where one player dominates. maybe they drop a few sets, but they win the vast majority of tournaments.

okay, i honestly think if isai cared about melee he would be the best. that's just my opinion. you think m2k is the best. these are our opinions, cool.

like i said, you and i define terms differently to begin with, so this is going to be a circular discussion

@durhamred There was never a time no one could beat Isai. There was never a time where anyone couldn't be beaten in Melee. I'm just saying I feel that when he works at it, M2K is the best player. Plus he knows more about Melee than probably most of the top players if not all.

@durhamred M2K just isn't as good anymore. All you can say is currently Mango is better. But you can't say he has always been better. He's just continued to play Melee while M2K played Brawl. And they're not even that far apart today even. I bet if M2K never stopped Melee for an instant like Mango, he would still be ahead in the power rankings.

@durhamred Yes you have made your point that Mango has been better than M2K the past 2 years or so. But the point I'm trying to make is that when both players are in their prime, M2K is better than Mango. Everyone says he's rusty now since he plays Brawl a lot. And yes, I understand that's his fault. But it still remains that when he's in his prime he would beat Mango. I mean he doesn't even play with Fox anymore, I considered Fox his best character.

i honestly can't recall any time in the past year and half that mango played jigglypuff in tournament.

i can't remember m2k beating mango any time in the past year and a half, either.
