Well, FCS as a whole program may have passed away,...but at least the current thought is to maintain the components and get them out as they reach "ready for prime time" maturity. Guess like how Land Warrior as has broken down to being obtained in bits and pieces via RFI (Rapid Fielding Initiative) and other programs. Still an Ole'Sarge m'self and like my troops trained in the basics,...but I do like alot of this tech if we get it to work right.

THis would be awesome to have.. even though the BFT we run and the MRAPs with the frag-7 kits installed.. we haven't been touched yet. No auto turrets though.. not yet anyways. I would like this a lot.

you realize the is FUTURE combat systems expected to be fully integrated in 3 to 10 years so dont expect everything to be completed yet this stuff takes time and you want to get it right so cut the FCS people some slack
What's with all the negative footnotes? It's just a demonstration...and a pretty good ones.

The footnotes aren't meant to be negative. They are meant to indicate what goes into making a video of a system that doesn't exist. They are 'behind-the-scenes' or 'making-of' notes. In no way are they meant to be negative.
