Flash Mob Holyoke Mall 12-17-10 Commonwealth Opera

The folks from the Commonwealth Opera House organized a Flash Mob singing the Chorus of Handel's Messiah at the Holyoke Mall in Holyoke Mass tonight. The Commonwealth Opera of Northampton, Springfield Symphony Orchestra Chorus, Valley Light Opera, Eventide Hospice Chorus and Hampshire Chorus Society, Valley Light Opera, Westfield Theater Group, Edwards Church in Northampton and many onlookers gathering in the food court of the mall during the busy dinner hour and sang. It was a very cool site to see. Great job everyone.
I will be adding groups as I hear who else may have been there.

After two weeks of preparation, I think this came out pretty well, It was tons of fun to do! I would love to do it again.

Flash Mob or not and regardless if you were by definition correct, you came across very negative and rude in your initial post, then say at the end "nice caroling though"??? That is my problem with people such as yourself....there was no need for your rude comments (''memorize your lines"). @Aidensdaddy88 I took the video at face value and will not stoop to your level and call you an idiot . A great performance. Apparently from one response of a member they did not know what flash mobbing was. My response was not to ruin the performance at all or their intentions. Speaking with Holyoke residents that know what FM is have said the same thing, a GREAT PERFORMANCE enjoyed by those that saw it. Wouldn't it have been nice to hear EVERYONE in the mall singing? Christ in Christmas.
