-
@honeypower So what's the new cool music press? blogs?
-
@TheOlivesurf Yeah but the NME was cool in the 80s, now it's horrible.
-
The Jesus and Mary Chain we're very heavily promoted through the NME in the mid 80's, s'all i'm sayin' great band nonetheless.
-
Wow there's some serious shite being talked here.

3:20, song?

@TheDragonlee128 they would sell 10 millions records? so what? Selling lots of records isn't a proof the record is good, check Celine Dion or Kings of Leon or Crazy Frog ... Creation signed Oasis and McGee with all his money signed crap bands that sold peanut, then Oasis fucked off and Creation did go Bankrupt ... You can support talent without signing with the devil look at Domino records, Sub Pop, Matador and Mute ...

What a ridiculous post. First of all, it's not for you to decide what is shite and what isn't. Secondly, when you're a global success like Oasis, longevity is everything. Like them or hate them, if Oasis release an album tomorrow, it would sell 10 million copies. And it's this money that allows record companies to support new talent. Before Oasis came along, Creation were near bankrupt. How can you support new talent with no money? Don't be so naive and ignorant.

@pierreerichexum yes. although there is better footage on youtube. I have said this before on Youtube: But as far as I am concerned, Felt should have been as big as Smiths or Cure. However, I do think that there music will live on and new generations will continuously discover them.

@MsAngelChild 15 years and one amazing record, Def Maybe, the rest is utter shite, the sex pistols were only around for 2 years and made one album, longevity means FA
am i the only person who thinks the jesus and mary chain deserve just as much recognition as oasis?

Wow, you obviously have absoultely no clue whatsoever about music that exsists past the NME or mainstream music sources. Go look at Psychocandy's Wiki page. Note the comments about "greatest albums ever made" and "creating a new movement" Also, see the reviews on the right. Stop allowing yourself to be forcefed by award shows and other pointless sources that feature the same old standards every knows about. You are welcome for the education in real music.
