This is my first attempt at 3D Computer Animation using the FREE DAZ 3D Studio software, as well as other software programs like Poser and various Sony sound and graphics tools.

It amazes me that this relatively short video required 8964 separate renders (Pictures)! They were rendered using poser, and took nearly 10 hours to complete. It gives you a ton of respect for some of the full length movies and special effects made today! These are using similar processes - but of course on much more expensive platforms.

One of the most efficient programs that I have found to put this Video together is Sony Cinescore. I found The program only allows 1000 picture imports at a time, so I had to make 9 .AVI "shorts" - then Re-import these to be tied together with the music..

As a sidenote, if you want to attempt something like this, I think it is best to make separate renders, rather than trying to make a single .AVI from the parent software. I learned the hard way. I tried it first, only to hsve the program crash when the AVIfile was nearing it's 11 hour completion! That way too, it is easier to throw out, or re-arrang blocks of pictures to achieve whole new animations. You can also see each picture as it is rendered - rather than waiting for an entire file - only to realize that it isn't what you wanted.

One thing for sure - I had a blast creating it - even though it took nearly a month from start to finish!

Hope you enjoy!
