you'll find an excellent CLIFFORD BROWN2CD for a good price, i bought from them also Monk, Blakey and Rollins and the BoogieWoogie 2cd all very good, music is the best isn't ?

  • @bakabana1967

A story of the musicomania, Thank you.

I have the CD of this album. And both Rollins and Art Blakey have a CD. Though I had an LP. . .

There may not be the best so.

  • @Zyezion He had about what, 6 years of his professional career? He died at 25 and has more fame than any other professional within six years.

  • No one was greater than Brownie. This is an excellent example of his virtuosity. Like the other commenters here, I am amazed at the legacy he managed to carve out while only performing for a short period. Also, was there ever a more fascinating drummer than Max Roach? His timing and musical approach is flawless. And too little credit is given to Harold Land, a superb tenor man.
