I read Ric Flair's book,and one of the models standing beside him is actually the future wife of Ricky Steamboat.

Why can't I find whole videos of the old matches? I guess when Vince M bought the rights to the older NWA stuff, he destroyed everything great about classic wrestling.

@breezeman199 this was 1978, though... back then, alotta guys were more down to earth, joe-schmo types on the mic. he improved as the dragon later on. however, his in-ring was always fkn priceless.....

now THIS is how you properly construct an angle for a feud...2 performers with unbelieveable chemistry upping the ante with each other week after week....that's why Mid-Atlantic was so good back then...this wasn't some feud thrown together 2 weeks before a PPV and then discarded like WWE tries to pass off nowadays
