Breathe is a criticism and comment piece about what is between the words in broadcast news. If you take away the words, the content of what is being broadcast, you are left with the liminal spaces in between. It questions the authority of news presenters by cutting out the words and leaving behind only gasps and breaths. The piece is also set to a rhythmic beat which helps identify a pattern of what is being presenced by absence.
