Well, we figured out where the whining noise was coming from. It was the Turbosmart BOV. Put the stock BPV in and the noise went away. Cleaned, re-lubricated, and re-installed the TS BOV and the sound is gone.

Oh ok. Makes sense now. I couldn't tell you what the noise is as I don't have a down pipe yet :( but I do hear it. Almost sounds like that "superturbo" guy "forgot his username" on MSF.org with the 3076 and anti surge housing, just not nearly as loud.

@srspeed240 Yeah, I forgot to say why I posted this video. This is actually my buddy's car. I have a 2011 with UR TBE and CS SRI/TIP. We just installed his UR DP and the car is now making a supercharger type whining noise. Everything seems fine and it hits target boost. Sounds like turbo spool, but don't know if it's normal to be that loud. I know mine isn't that loud. Maybe the difference is the SRI/TIP between his car and mine?

I don't get it? Are you complaining about a noise or showing the sound of the sri&tip? Also, I thought you didn't have the corksport cbe anymore? Thought you switched everything to ur?
