That same Electra later crashed- due to the pilot suffering a heart attack at the controls, apparently. Just a bit of Electra/Beatles trivia.

On their 2nd US tour in '65, on their way to Portland, one of the engines on their Electra caught fire. They made it in on 3, and the Electra was swapped for a Constellation.
