My wife has been damaged by the programs of abuse by Bill Gothard and his followers. I have spent countless hours with her trying to work through her issues. I have let the local Sheriff know that if they show up on our property they will be met at gun point and escorted off property.

No, it's not pointless. I have lived in enough states and attended enough IFB churches- they ARE all abusive. You do not know your freedom in Christ if you do not see this. Likely you are a victim yourself if you are defending an IFB church. I hope you find out how Jesus really loves soon, before you too have abused your children to the point that your family fractures and your last days are spent alone with only your big black KJV for company.

Another name for the Fundamental Baptists are Independent Baptists. ....That means you cant take one or even most of the retarded ones and conclude thats how the rest are....it pointless really

All I am saying is dont lump all Independent Fundamental Baptist into "cult" status. There are aspects of the movement I dont like either but over all its a great movement started by bold and uncompromising men of God.

These IFB (Independent Fundamental Baptists) need to study their Hebrew and Greek, and a good start would be with Strong's Concordance.
