  • 3:00 - Well done on holding your breath until the loco was a fair distance away so as not to spoil the shot! Always got to remember that the video always comes first, whether you're gassed out or not!! :)

  • WOW Great locos with stunning sound. As already mentioned just a shame the clips are cut short. Does anybody have videos or photos of 50 048 in 1987 to share please??

    Yeah your rite about the clips cut short there was a fault on the camera back then..It rewound back too fnn far when I took the previous shot...Grrrr....

  • Nice Video! if you like class 50's you should take a look at British Railways - Class 50 on facebook where you can upload your own videos and share your own pictures.... in the future we can also look at providing upto date news on the last remain class members, lets build a class 50 community

  • i was fortuneate enough to have driven these Engines whilst a secondman at Reading,and one trip always comes to mind when driving 50010 from Paddington to Oxford and clocking 105 mph through Maidenhead......Happy days
