Hurricane Ike damaged many trees and downed many power lines. WATCH FOR THE SURPRISE AT THE END! These are the pictures I took of my neighborhood while we tried to pick up the pieces of the aftermath.

  • I stayed during ike in my house

  • After watching many of these videos, I dont see any mention about those of that worked before, during and after the storm. While probably most of you were "hunkered down" with your loved ones, hundreds and hundreds of us were at Ben Taub, LBJ, and other facilities in the Med Center taking care of your loved ones while our husbands, wives, and kids were left alone to ride out this mess. Only to come home (N. Spring) and find this carnage.

  • At least Ike just brought some destruction, Katrina brought a ton of niggers and that was far worse.

It's an "OK" area but like a lot of the Houston Area, there's a big problem with crime. Certainly avoid the area going towards North Freeway. Closer you get that direction, the worse the area gets.

You've got more to worry about crime wise than hurricanes. I lived there two years and I guess Hurricanes are QUITE RARE, especially that far north east. Ike was something else and according to seasoned locals, is maybe a once in a decade or two occurrence.

  • we are moving to Spring in like 2 weeks. >.>
